Services

Standard fee range for individual and couples/family therapy sessions prior to insurance reimbursement: $300-400 (depending on type of services and length of session).

Many insurance plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network services. The practice has partnered with Reimbursify to help clients use their out-of-network benefits to save money on therapy. I can assist with submitting claims for reimbursement to make the process easier on your end so you can focus on therapy or I can provide a superbill so that you can submit claims directly. You can verify if your insurance offers out-of-network benefits by clicking on the icon on this page below.

I currently accept Aetna through Headway (requires initial consultation). Reach out for more information on fees for other services and potential sliding scale options.

  • Individual therapy sessions typically take place weekly or bi-weekly for 45 to 60 mins depending on the type of therapy. EMDR sessions usually are 60 minutes. An initial intake session will be 60 minutes followed by subsequent 45-50 minute therapy sessions. Total number of sessions may vary depending on the focus, scope, and type of therapy.

  • Couples or family therapy sessions may be offered separately or in conjunction with individual and/or group therapy. Couples’ therapy sessions can be helpful during times of struggle and conflict, when feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, and when partners are feeling disconnected. It can also be helpful during times of transition or in preparation for major life events such as marriage, parenting, and loss. The frequency and number of sessions will vary, some people only requiring single sessions or a few time limited sessions while others may benefit from more regular or long-term sessions.

  • Individual, couples, or family therapy or consultation sessions with a focus on adoption-related topics and issues centered around either the adult or child/adolescent adoptee or education and guidance for families and partners.

  • Group sessions usually involve about 5-8 individuals for 45-50 minutes. Groups are time-limited and will focus on a particular area of interest such as learning mindfulness and DBT coping skills, parent support, women’s issues, etc. Frequency and number of sessions will vary depending on the type of group. If there are no group openings, contact us to be put on a waitlist for the next group availability. Participation in a group will require prior screening and information.

  • Individual or group sessions can be arranged to either focus on clinical supervision for therapists and trainees and/or mentorship focused professional development and support. Number and frequency of sessions to be determined based on needs.

  • In addition to utilizing screening tools to help track progress in therapy, some individuals may find it helpful to incorporate psychological assessment or testing to supplement individual therapy. Psychological assessment can help enrich or facilitate therapy by offering more in-depth understanding of one’s patterns of thinking, behaving, and relating to others and the world as well as identifying recommendations for therapy and general growth. Assessment requires several hours to complete in addition to a final written report but will vary depending on type of assessments used.

  • Workshops, trainings, and presentations on a wide range of topics related to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, DBT, inpatient psychiatric work and high risk populations, trauma, transracial adoption, and inclusive supervision, among others. Reach out to discuss your needs and areas of interest. Program or clinical consultation to organizations or groups available.
